Techniques to help YOUNG PEOPLE:

  • take responsibility for shaping how they behave, communicate and think
  • improve their self-esteem, self-belief and direction
  • manage relationships, develop emotional maturity, resilience and confidence
  • Prepare for work

Techniques to help TEACHERS:

  • teach for different student working styles using brain-friendly learning approaches and by running parallel exercises
  • develop an adaptable and personal facilitation style improving delivery of emotional and social learning
  • develop confidence in handling challenging interactions with colleagues, parents and students
  • help student learn core skills in preparation for work

Techniques to help PARENTS:

  • understand how values can differ from your children's - and how to manage this situation effectively
  • develop and encourage your children's sense of self-belief, self-esteem, responsibility and direction
  • support your child's ambitions with pro-active and helpful exercises
  • identify and understand the impact of your parenting style - and how to change

PALS consists of 18 interactive, action-learning modules that fit with the PSHE and Every Child Matters learning requirements for secondary schools, FE colleges and universities.
