New Meaning's Construction Skills Programme is aimed at young people aged 16-18 (and EHCP holders aged 16-24 may be eligible on a case-by-case basis). This is a great programme for anyone wanting to try their hand at these hugely sought after skills. They're worth acquiring even if you decide you don't want to begin a career in construction. DIY skills are always handy!

The course works towards a Level 1 Certificate in Construction Multiskills which combines practical skills (painting & decorating, tiling & carpentry), Health & Safety as well as English and Maths.

Uniquely, New Meaning Training has a sister company, New Meaning Construction which builds houses. With our live construction sites we're able to offer visits, work experience and sometimes even paid employment!

The course is full-time (2.5 days a week) and is available in the following locations:

New Meaning Bucks, Herts, Beds (High Wycombe)

New Meaning Warwickshire (Stratford-upon-Avon)

New Meaning Berkshire (Reading)
